Just a quick post to remind you that the 1925 Club is kicking off next week! Karen and I are asking everyone to read and review books published in 1925 (and don’t forget, that makes them eligible for Neeru’s Hundred Years Hence challenge too).
On Thursday 23 Oct, we will also be sharing our highlights from TEN YEARS of these club years – and hope you’ll do the same, whether you’ve been joining in for one year or the whole decade.
Looking forward to it!

Busy reading the books ready for next week
Brilliant :)
Are plays allowed, Simon? I’m just reading Noel Coward’s ‘Fallen Angels’, first staged in 1925…
Yes, absolutely! Any format, any language.
Thank you for linking up my post, Simon.
Of course :)
I’m all ready to go!
Wonderful!
Can’t wait!!
Hurrah!
The Rector of Wyck was written in 1925 by May Sinclair. The first edition was published by Hutchinson & Co in London, with other versions, such as one from Macmillan, also appearing in the same year.
This will be my choice Simon.
Nice! I have read one of the Wyck series, but not that one, so looking forward to finding out more.
Thanks for doing this again. I always look forward to this challenge.
Here is my invite with a link to yours:

My goodness! Has it really been ten years? Congratulations on this notable anniversary for the Club, which seems to have gone from strength to strength! I’ve been short of time in the run-up to this (mostly due to the London Film Fest), but all being well, I’m planning to revisit a 1925 favourite next week. :)
