Tea or Books? Ask us anything

Those who listen to my podcast with Rachel, Tea or Books?, may have heard that we’re doing a Q&A episode for our (gasp!) 50th. We’re actually recording episode 49 next Monday, but I wanted to give a bit of time to people who might want to ask questions. We’ve had some fantastic ones in via email, but I thought I’d do a blog post so you can ask questions here, should you so wish.

Ask us anything – about making the podcast, about books, about our other interests. Go wild! I imagine we’ll answer all of them, unless there is an unexpected deluge.

Firstly, thanks for the fantastic podcast, which I so enjoy listening to.

My question is – could you each name your favourite literary decade and say why you have chosen it?

    A possible future discussion suggestion?

Evelyn Waugh or W. Somerset Maugham?

Hi, do you ever fear that you spend too much time reading about the books you want to read instead of just reading the books you want to read? If so, why do you reckon you do that? Uh, asking for a friend

A cookbook released this year called the little library cookbook seeks to show how food and books are linked to memory. Throughout your time reading books are there any meals or moments around food in novels that stand out strongly for you ?
