Song for a Sunday

Since summer has decided to slip into September, here’s a cheery little track called ‘Dress and Tie’ by Charlene Kaye, featuring Darren Criss aka Blaine off Glee, if that means anything to you. I think they were at music school together, or something.

Happy weekend!

Summer in England supposedly lasts until the 21st September though, after the August we have just had, one could be forgiven for thinking it ended weeks ago. Yesterday it rained pretty much non-stop up here. I'm pleased to say that is dry and bright today. Thanks for the sunny musical accompaniment. I approve of any song which encourages people to dress smartly. Of course, like BBC announcers of the past, I always wear a dinner jacket to post comments here (joke!)

Thanks for the song! I'm going to hunt it down so I can play it to get me through the craziness that is the first week of school with students!

    Amy – you're welcome :)

pbcbb – glad you enjoyed it! I must listen to the rest of Charlene Kaye's album sometime…

    Mum – good good!

David – the summer has definitely disappeared now… and I'm glad to hear you dress appropriately for reading my blog! (I must add, I'm generally in my dressing gown when I write it…)

Read the Book – haha, good, I hope it works!
