Bassington Giveaway

Do you think the above is the version read by bears everywhere? In between finishing The Unbearable Bassington and writing my review of it, I stumbled across a copy of it – and, even better, it comes with a wide selection of his short stories too – including my favourite, ‘The Story-Teller’.

I’m not just bragging, of course – this little gem is up for grabs. Pop your name in the comments if you’d like me to send this off to you – open worldwide. (Apparently it’s available on Kindle for free, so even if you don’t win this, you should be able to read it!)

I shouldn't drop my name in as I downloaded this onto my Nook, but I would much prefer to read an actual book! :)

Toss my name in the hat, please – and give Patch a chuck under the chin for me – oh, make that a tight hug instead. :-)

I know I could get it on the Kindle, but it's just too hard to pass up the chance at a real life paper book! I'd like to enter my name, please! Thanks so much… :)

I don't have a kindle, so I'm putting my name in! Your post about Bassington really intrigued me – I'd probably be tempted to skip to the last chapter, but that would ruin it, I expect.

Should I put my name in the hat in order to replace the book you 'borrowed'?

I would love this, Simon. I've read UB but not the short stories & I love those old OUP editions. Thank you.

Please drop my name in the hat as well! I have Saki's short stories but not The Unbearable Bassington. Would love to read that after all the good things that has been said about the book. Thank you. :)

Oh please enter me. I was very intrigued by your review. Your drawing in really cute – I have a soft spot for teddy bears and used to collect them when I was younger (until my collection threatened to consume my bedroom!).

Please take my name *out* as I just found a Barnes & Noble edition of The Complete Works of Saki about a local used bookstore – an early Easter present
